Entrepreneurs
An entrepreneur is a successful business person who has owned or managed a significant business operation in two of the last five years, has a net worth of C$300,000 and is willing to invest into a business in Canada that they operate themselves, and hire one Canadian who is not a member of their family. After they arrive in Canada on work permits, entrepreneurs have two years to prove they have made their proposed investment, hired one Canadian and shown their business is succeeding, before they are allowed to apply for permanent residence status.
