Semi-Skilled Workers
Several nominee programs also include semi-skilled workers, such as service workers, cleaners, and long haul truckers. Applicants must meet the requirements of the position and must have worked a minimum of nine months in the position in Canada before they can be sponsored by their employers through one of the nominee programs. Otherwise, their applications are processed in the same way as with the skilled worker nominees.
